Pearls to Pluff Mud

Friends of Cross Schools,

This year's Pearls to Pluff Mud Auction and Gala was an extraordinary event by all measures! A record crowd of 250 gathered at Honey Horn for an evening of fellowship, food, and fundraising for Cross Schools. 

We are elated to share with you that not only did we have a record crowd this year, but together we also set a record amount of giving for a Cross Schools event. After all expenses, our net amount of funds raised at Pearls 2021 totaled $109,000! Proceeds from this year's event will help to equip the new High School Auxiliary Building, and will also be utilized for other specialized projects that will ensure Cross Schools provides an attractive learning environment at all levels!

I am indebted to our Committee Co-Chairs this year, Jen Harden Green and Lauren Marcinkoski, and their supporting Chairs, Patty Gallardo, Holly Brooking, Blair Roscoe, Brooke Minton, and Stefanie Laugen. Praises to our tireless Committee Members: Emily Campbell, Jamie Coley, Amy Flanagan, Peggy Grothause, Jennie Long, Marie McConnell, Sommer Shultzman, Kayla Smoak, Jenna Vaughn, Ellen Martin, and Kim Wilhite. And, of course, Kelly Williamson, our Director of Development!

I never cease to be amazed at God's ability to "steal the show" when we put the spotlight on Him. He has blessed our school not only monetarily, but also with a community filled with generous hearts, and hard-working hands that made this night such a success. I speak for all the faculty, staff and administration here at Cross in telling you both how humbled we are to see this level of support, and how honored we are to serve your families.  Thank you from all of us.
