Brad Schultz, Head of School
Over the past seventeen years, Dr. Schultz has served in various teaching and administrative roles at Greater Atlanta Christian. He most recently served in a dual role as Principal and Chief Innovation Officer. While in these roles, Dr. Schultz created learning environments like the environmental learning center and floating classrooms. Both have led to deep engaged learning by the students and intellectual curiosity from across the country. Dr. Schultz has also partnered with Apple and Microsoft to help shape the role of technology in the classroom. Most recently, he collaborated with developers to design software for mixed reality devices and worked with renowned researchers to create blended and online models that provide ideal teaching and learning opportunities.
As Head of School, Dr. Schultz looks forward to merging new innovations with Cross Schools’ history of excellence. As John Dewey once said, “If we teach today’s students as we taught yesterday’s, we rob them of their tomorrows.” At Cross Schools, Dr. Schultz sees the ability to set children on a path where they see brightness in tomorrows as well as for eternity – “For in Your light we see light” (Psalms 36:9).
