Introduction

Located in the heart of Bluffton, South Carolina, Cross Schools was established in 1998 to serve a growing community that was then void of an independent grade school. Since then, we have expanded to our campus on Buckwalter Parkway and now educate over 650 students 12 months through 12th grade.  We offer a day school program as well as after-school and summer camp programs.

At Cross Schools, we inspire future leaders to grow spiritually and academically by intentionally designing opportunities for inquisitive learning and active service all for the glory of God.  Small classes, rigorous academics, various enrichment courses, community service, athletics, and faith-based learning help prepare our children to grow into collaborative thinkers with moral and spiritual principles.

For over 25 years, Cross Schools in Bluffton, SC, has been dedicated to nurturing students from 12 months through 12th grade, recently celebrating the graduation of our first senior class. Our faculty are not only exceptional in their fields but are also committed to their faith, caring deeply for each student's development in body, mind, and spirit.

To be a Stingray is to carry pride on your shoulder everywhere you go. It means you have a community around you that builds you up even when you’re at your worst. I chose to attend Cross for high school because I’ve attended many schools, and this one seems to not only be the best fit, but it’s where my heart lies as well.

We searched Beaufort County for the right environment for our girls academic education and toured Cross Schools 9 years ago. Cross Schools gave us all the warm and fuzzies. Fast forward to today and it’s still the best academic Christian environment for our family! We love this culture and our staff, teachers and leaders.
